A Dino Named “Sue”

The largest and most complete skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus rex ever found was put on display at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, on May 17, 2000. The dinosaur is named “Sue”. It is named after Susan Hendrickson, the fossil hunter who discovered it near Faith, South Dakota. Scientists don’t know if Sue was male or female. Its body is 45 feet long and its skull is 5 feet long. Scientists believe the big T. rex weighed about 7 tons.
